Walt’s Insulation started in Hayward in 2000, and the crew we have today still treats every attic and crawl space like it belongs to a neighbor. Walt Brenner, Owner
Walt founded Walt’s Insulation in 2000 after spending years watching Bay Area homeowners overpay for attic work done wrong the first time. He’ll be the first to tell you that insulation isn’t glamorous, but getting it right changes how a house feels every single day. Walt still walks jobs in Hayward, Castro Valley, and San Leandro when he can, and he personally stands behind the Done Right Promise because his name is on the truck. Marcus T., Lead Technician
Marcus has been with Walt’s Insulation for 14 years, starting as an installer and working his way up to lead technician. He’s certified to work with Owens Corning, Rockwool, and Icynene products, and he’s the guy we send when a homeowner has a problem nobody else could figure out. Marcus has pulled raccoon damage out of attics in the Hayward hills and rerouted baffles in 1920s bungalows near downtown. He’s also a barbecue obsessive, and he’ll talk ribs with you if the job runs long.
Elena R., Senior Installer
Elena joined the crew eight years ago and handles blown-in insulation, spray foam, and radiant barrier work across Alameda County. She’s certified on Johns Manville and CertainTeed systems and has a reputation for leaving attics cleaner than she found them. Elena grew up in Hayward and knows exactly what a foggy morning off the bay does to homes without proper vapor barriers. When she’s not in an attic, she’s coaching her daughter’s soccer team at Weekes Park.
Danny V., Service Coordinator
Danny is the voice on the other end of (510) 871-9022, and he’s been answering those calls for six years. He schedules estimates, pulls together the paperwork for home energy audits, and makes sure every job has the right crew and the right materials before the truck rolls. Danny grew up in Union City and knows the service routes across Hayward, Fremont, and Newark better than most GPS systems. He’s also the reason we actually answer the phone at 2 a.m. when a crawl space is flooding and you need someone to talk you through it.
